Claus Ibsen commented on CAMEL-18085:
-------------------------------------
This is not a bug, as that only controls if statistics is enabled or not.
Its is not about which mbeans to register by default.
Instead a new option should be added to control how many mbeans to install.
Having the mbean for processors but without statistics can be of use if you
need fine grained management of EIPs or custom processors which can have JMX
attributes and operations.
> ManagementStatisticsLevel.RoutesOnly does not prevent creation of
> processors' statisctics

> If _ManagementStatisticsLevel.RoutesOnly_ is used to configure performance
> statistics, processors' statistics are created - the are not actualized.
> Even their existence could cause performance issues. It would be better to do
> not register them at all (the same way as with
> {_}onlyRegisterProcessorWithCustomId=true{_}). See the
> [documentation|https://camel.apache.org/manual/jmx.html#_configuring_performance_statistics]
> for more details.
