Geetika Gupta created CARBONDATA-1432:
-----------------------------------------

Summary: Default.value property is not throwing any exception when
specified column name does not matches with column name in the query
                 Key: CARBONDATA-1432
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CARBONDATA-1432
             Project: CarbonData
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: sql
    Affects Versions: 1.2.0
            Reporter: Geetika Gupta

I tried to create a table with the following command:

CREATE TABLE uniqdata (CUST_ID int,CUST_NAME String,ACTIVE_EMUI_VERSION string,
DOB timestamp, DOJ timestamp, BIGINT_COLUMN1 bigint,BIGINT_COLUMN2
bigint,DECIMAL_COLUMN1 decimal(30,10), DECIMAL_COLUMN2
decimal(36,10),Double_COLUMN1 double, Double_COLUMN2 double,INTEGER_COLUMN1
int) STORED BY 'org.apache.carbondata.format' TBLPROPERTIES ("TABLE_BLOCKSIZE"=
"256 MB")

and when I tried to add a new column to this table by using:

alter table uniqdata add columns(newcol5 int)
tblproperties('default.value.nCol'='123456789');

It does not throw any error and the query was passed successfully. The above
alter command should throw an exception as the new column name to be added does
not matches with the column name in the default value property.
