Review Comment:
   `executor.shutdown()` is only reached if all `Future#get()` calls succeed; 
if a task fails and `get()` throws, the method exits early and the thread pool 
isn’t shut down, which can leave non-daemon threads running and potentially 
hang the test JVM at the end of the suite. Wrap the `get()` loop in a 
`try/finally` and always shut the executor down (e.g., `shutdownNow()` in 
`finally`).
