yew1eb opened a new pull request, #3827: URL: https://github.com/apache/celeborn/pull/3827
## What changes were proposed in this pull request? Add a `celeborn-web` service to the local docker-compose cluster so users can access the Celeborn Web UI at http://localhost:9095 without additional backend code. The implementation uses a lightweight `nginx:alpine` container to: - Serve the built frontend assets from `web/dist/`. - Proxy `/api/*` requests to the Celeborn master's native `/api/v1/*` REST API. This keeps the `web/` module untouched and avoids introducing a separate Java backend service. ## Why are the changes needed? CELEBORN-2390 ## How was this patch tested? 1. Built the frontend: ```bash cd web pnpm install pnpm build ``` 2. Started the cluster: ```bash cd docker docker compose -f docker-compose.yaml up -d celeborn-master celeborn-worker celeborn-web ``` 3. Verified the Web UI loads at http://localhost:9095 (HTTP 200). 4. Verified API proxying works: `curl http://localhost:9095/api/workers` returns the master's `/api/v1/workers` response. ## Follow-up work The frontend currently invokes custom paths such as `/api/cluster/overview`. A follow-up can adapt the frontend API calls to consume the master's native `/api/v1/*` endpoints directly. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
