Chandan, hints are here;

http://it.ctsi.ufl.edu/howto-convert-from-virtualbox-to-vmware-esx/ (use
ovftool to convert ovf to vmx)
I've installed ovftool on the jenkins slave which is building;
http://jenkins.cloudstack.org/view/All/job/build-systemvm-master
Vijay, no it does not. I'm generating the template using veewee/vbox; you can
get this
http://jenkins.cloudstack.org/view/All/job/build-systemvm-master/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/tools/appliance/dist/systemvmtemplate-2013-03-27-master-vmware.ova
Quick hack for the impatient;
1. Download this ova
2. Import in VMWare Fusion/Workstation, you'll get warnings, override/retry
which would import it
3. Open VM's settings and fix anything that needs to be fixed
4. Export the appliance as ova from VMWare which should now have vmware
compatible ovf/vmx metadata
> [VMware] [SystemVMTemplate] is not working with latest cloudstack master

> Steps to reproduce :
> 1. Took the latest system vm template from jenkins
> http://jenkins.cloudstack.org/view/master/job/build-systemvm-master/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/tools/appliance/dist/systemvmtemplate-2013-03-27-master-vmware.ova
> 2. Seeded the above template using the following
> /usr/share/cloudstack-common/scripts/storage/secondary/cloud-install-sys-tmplt
> -m /tmp/1/secondary.campo.vmw.GOLD/ -u
> http://10.147.28.7/templates/campo/templates/systemvmtemplate-2013-03-27-master-vmware.ova
> -h vmware -F
> 3. Tried to bring up the advanced zone using ESXi 5.1
> Observations :
