venkata swamybabu budumuru created CLOUDSTACK-4142:
------------------------------------------------------
Summary: [EIP/ELB] [UI] "Add LoadBalancer" option is not available
for non-ROOT domain user.
Key: CLOUDSTACK-4142
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-4142
Project: CloudStack
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public (Anyone can view this level - this is the default.)
Components: UI
Affects Versions: 4.2.0
Environment: commit # 7fced6460f13468369550c968670c7d0b9837949
Reporter: venkata swamybabu budumuru
Assignee: Jessica Wang
Priority: Critical
Fix For: 4.2.0
Steps to reproduce:
1. Have latest CloudStack setup with at least 1 EIP/ELB enabled zone.
2. Have at least one sub domain under ROOT domain and at least one user in the
non-ROOT domain.
3. Login as the above non-ROOT domain user and Go to Networks ->
guestNetworkForBasicZone
Observations:
(i) It doesn't show an option called "Add LoadBalancer"
(ii) But, when you login as ROOT admin then we can see the same option.
(iii) As a non-ROOT admin, I have checked with API and that works fine. Below
mentioned is the api that went fine.
create loadbalancerrule name=zone2LB2
networkid=83858f62-5dea-482a-8f7b-8f3d199526d0 privateport=22 publicport=22
algorithm=roundrobin domainid=2 account=dom1Acc1 openfirewall=false
