I am using 4.1.1 and the following happens:

list virtualmachines listall=true
Doesn't list machines in projects

list virtualmachines projectid=-1
Only lists machines in projects, not all others

list virtualmachines listall=true projectid=-1
Only lists machines in projects, not all others
