Prachi Damle commented on CLOUDSTACK-4375:
------------------------------------------

Sateesh,

If admin calls migrateVirtualMachineWithVolume using API and passes a
destination host then following case needs to be addressed:
You might also want to fix VirtualMachineManagerImpl ::
getPoolListForVolumesForMigration() to not find another pool if the currentpool
is accessible to the destination host.
Currently I see that we are trying to do so, but then we break after the first
allocator returns a non-empty poolList and this poolLIst may not contain the
currentPool. So we end up migarting teh volume to the first pool in the list.

So either we should loop through all allocators to get a complete list of pools
or better way is to first check if currentPool is accessible to destination
host before calling the allocators.

> VM Migration is failing from one cluster to another cluster.

> Steps followed are as below:
> 1)Created a Advanced Zone VMware setup with two clusters C1 & c2.
> 2)C1 having 2 hosts H1 and H2 and C2 having single host H3.
> 3)Dedicated the Zone to Domain D1 having Account A1 and A2.
> 4)Dedicated the Host H2 to Account A1, where H1 has the system Vm's in it.
> 5)Created a VM not using the affinity group for the host, the Router VM came
> up on the host H1and the VM is created on host H3 of the cluster C2.
> 6)Now tried to migrate the VM from H3 to H1 the migration was successful.
> 7)Now tried to migrate the VM from H1 to H3 again the VM migration failed
