Sangeetha Hariharan closed CLOUDSTACK-5142.
-------------------------------------------

Tested with latest build from 4.2.1

Set up - Advanced zone with xenserver 6.2 hosts.

Configure F5 Loadbalancer.
Create a shared network using a network offering that has DHCP and DNS provided
by Virtual Router and LB privided by F5 , at domain level with subdomain access
set to true.

Deploy Vm in this network.

As part of Vm deployment , F5 is assigned a self-ip which falls between the
start and end ip range of the shared netrwork.

Tested with 3 different shared networks and every time self-ip assigned to F5
falls between the start and end ip range of the shared netrwork.

Closing this issue.

> Guest IP address for F5 is not being selected from the defined IP Range in
> Shared Network

> Affects Versions: 4.2.1

> Priority: Critical
> Fix For: 4.2.1
>
>
> Steps:
> 1. Configure F5 Loadbalancer to work with Cloudstack Shared Network
> 2. Configure Adv Zone
> 3. Created Shared Network offering with DNS/DHCP as VR , Loadbalancing as F5
> 4. Create a Shared Network with above Offering by specifying the VLAN ID , IP
> range with a scope of ROOT domain and allowing the child domains
> 5. Deployed a VM using this shared network.
> Observation :
> 1. F5 device got a Self IP . This Self IP is supposed to be coming from the
> Shared Network Defined IP range. But It is not honoring the Start and End
> Ipaddress defined by Admin . It is picking the guest IP for F5 from the
> complete CIDR of these IP's and not from the defined Range.
> Ex:
> Provided Range is : 10.102.198.10 to 10.102.198.20
> But the guest IP assigned to F5 is 10.102.198.84.
> Impact:
> Issues observed with VM accessibility as this IP was being in a different
> setup.
