Alena, the patch on 4.3 is applying cleanly, I did a git am and work fine for
both master and 4.3
Created new patch for master:

4.3 : https://reviews.apache.org/r/16361/
Marcus, I have updated the patch because the old patch was not applying cleanly.
Let us wait for Alena to respond and in case we need the fix, the patch is
available.
