Thank you for the bug report.
It seems qemu-img 1.2 drops the parameter this function use.
I tested with CentOS 6.5, so I used qemu-img-0.12.1.2-2.415.el6.x86_64.rpm.
Let me test qemu-img 1.2 in my environment.
