Rohit Yadav commented on CLOUDSTACK-7527:
-----------------------------------------
I'm not sure about the behaviour in case of a disk I/O error while syncing
mounted filesystems, will echo s > /proc/sysrq-trigger hang, or try and fail
quickly?
If it does not hang, it's a good idea to sync before echoing a "b" into sysrq
> XenServer heartbeat-script: make it reboot faster (when fencing)

> xenheartbeat.sh:
> I've seen the 'reboot' command hang, even though it has the force option
> specified (last line of the script). Wouldn't it be better to invoke it like
> this:
> echo b > /proc/sysrq-trigger
> Tested it, starts boot sequence immediately.
