When asyncblock=true, cloudmonkey waits for a job to finish and prints a period
'.' every few seconds.
When the . . . output rolls over to a second line on the terminal, a whole line
of . . . is incorrectly printed at each time step.
If I resize to a wider terminal screen, the correct behaviour is restored.
