Rohit Yadav commented on CLOUDSTACK-8270:
-----------------------------------------
I kind of disliked the period (.) based completer/waiting view. So, I've not
implemented a spinner which basically spins in place (like old-school DOS
antiviruses :D). Please close if that solves the UX for you.

> Key: CLOUDSTACK-8270
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-8270
> Project: CloudStack
> Issue Type: Bug
> Security Level: Public(Anyone can view this level - this is the
> default.)
> Components: Cloudmonkey
> Environment: Python 2.7, cloudmonkey install by pip
> Reporter: Phillip Kent
> Priority: Minor
>
> When asyncblock=true, cloudmonkey waits for a job to finish and prints a
> period '.' every few seconds.
> When the . . . output rolls over to a second line on the terminal, a whole
> line of . . . is incorrectly printed at each time step.
> If I resize to a wider terminal screen, the correct behaviour is restored.
