First of all: The snapshots are back :)
I do not know what happened. Right after the deletion of the VMs, they went
"Expunging" and were gone at least for 20 minutes (That's when I looked again
at the GUI and created this Issue).
I see nothing interesting in the management server log, so either the Web
interface just did not display them, or the management server did not report
them while cleaning up and expunging the other VMs.
Either way, this behaviour is at least a little scary...
