Confirmed on CloudStack 4.4.2 with vSphere 5.5 as the underlying compute layer.
The system allows creation of networks, but upon VM startup, the
"java.lang.NumberFormatException: null" is encountered.
This behavior is present for both dvSwitch and Nexus 1000V switches.
