Niall Pemberton commented on BEANUTILS-296:
-------------------------------------------

P.S. I would be shocked if I have screwed up the 1.8.0-BETA release this badly
- I still have the (unchanged) source checked out from the
"BEANUTILS_1_8_0_BETA" tag along with the release artifacts I built.

It would also be intesting to know which IDE/debugger (and version) you were
using. I have seen problems with Eclipse where I have different projects using
different versions of a library and the debugger has shown the wrong source
version. Switching all projects to the same libaray resolved it. Also are you
sure you have the correct binary and source configured?

> 1.8.0-BETA source does not match up with binary, making debugging difficult

> Affects Versions: 1.8.0-BETA
> Environment: Windows XP, IntelliJIDEA 6.0.5, Java JDK 6u2
> Reporter: Tim Ferro
> Priority: Minor
>
> I downloaded the file 'commons-beanutils-1.8.0-BETA.zip' on 10/17/2007 at
> noon. I apologize for not knowing which mirror.
> I attached the enclosed source jar (commons-beanutils-1.8.0-BETA-sources.jar)
> and when I step into the beanutils code through the debugger, I'm sitting on
> comments, the wrong method, etc. Appears to be going to the correct line #,
> but the source is apparently not the same source used to build the binary.
> Please contact if you need more information.
