Seems to be a battle of principles here. :) A large part of Lang's codebase
is utility classes filled with static methods. In principle, what you suggest
is a good thing, but it's not necessarily consistent with the API feel to which
Lang users should be accustomed. Once again, perhaps you'd like to make
concrete suggestions once we have something we can all look at.
