Here is a simple test case:

    public void testSerializeTransition() {
        Transition t = new Transition();
        
        t.setCond("i < 3");
        
        String actualValue = " <transition cond=\"i &lt; 3\">\n 
</transition>\n";
        
        StringBuffer returnValue = new StringBuffer();
        SCXMLSerializer.serializeTransition(returnValue, t, " ");
        
        assertEquals(actualValue, returnValue.toString());
    }
