Wow, that was quick!
Looks fine to me.
Needs some more tests:
- empty array
- adding items beyond the original list (including leaving a gap)
- referencing missing items
Just occurred to me - might be useful to be able to delete entries.
Perhaps setting an entry to null should delete it?
