Upgrade/rework the validator code to create a JSR-303 compliant implementation,
which can then be used by Apache Geronimo, OpenJPA and MyFaces, instead of the
RedHat Hibernate RI.
Work will be performed in the sandbox as 2.0-SNAPSHOT, until we have made
enough progress to consider moving it to trunk.
