[jira] [Created] (IMAGING-292) Simplify Bitwise operation

[Arturo Bernal (Jira)]

Arturo Bernal created IMAGING-292:
-------------------------------------

             Summary: Simplify Bitwise operation
                 Key: IMAGING-292
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/IMAGING-292
             Project: Commons Imaging
          Issue Type: Sub-task
            Reporter: Arturo Bernal

I fully understand if not everyone agrees with this change. The idea is to
simplify the code and avoid redundant operations
