I'm facing the same problem and it still not resolved, 5.5.20 with 1.6.0_10
jre, cannot run jmxremote control with security enable.
tried:
apache tomcat service run under SERVICE_TOMCAT_ACCOUNT
jmxremote.password own by SERVICE_TOMCAT_ACCOUNT and read only for him
permission.
no way, still same error 1067, cannot see why cause no java trace is provided
about error.
So I really think this bug is not solved. Consequences is jmx without security
behind firewall.
