@garydgregory Sure, I will do. I won't add/change any tests at the first place, because I don't intend to merge my change, but **start a conversation** if my findings are valid and if yes is something similar the preferred approach. During debugging my issue I was able to find a place in DBCP where I put some connection closure which fixed my problem. But I am not sure, will it cause regression?
