The error starts with Java 22, where javap was rewritten.
It could now be more strict or have a bug, or it is really BCEL issue.

What one needs is to create minimal example out of the test, verify that it 
works in JVM.
- If not, it is BCEL problem.
- If yes, ask on JDK mailing list whether it is javap or BCEL issue.
