I can confirm that VFS-861 resolved the main issue : connecting to http(s) with
basic auth.
But I think the code changes introduced 2 regressions:
* the password cannot any longer be empty in the basic auth
** due to {{password.clone()}} throwing npe if {{password}} is null
* I think proxyAuthData has been accidentally replaced by authData in
{{Http5FileProvider}} and {{Http4FileProvider}}
I attached a patch that should fix both.
Any idea when 2.11.0 will get released ? Broken http authentication is really
limiting the usability (I did use the 2.11.0-SNAPSHOT in prod..).
