This is strange. Eclipse does not reformat everything in a file except if you 
ask it to do so.
I use Eclipse for [math] development and the only problem I have with 
formatting is indentation of throws declaration in methods signatures. 
Everything else works with the Apache-commons profile I set up and published in 
my Apache web page (I guess it's the one Thomas spoke about in his June 8th 
comment).

Do you have some auto-reformatting feature activated or something similar ?
