Oh I see... the findEXIFValue() method of JpegImageMetadata has this comment:

Since I only see tag duplication between GPSTagConstants and 2 interoperability
related ExifTagConstants, and only the tags that can be duplicated need the
exact directory match, this change should be very easy.
