The patch looks good. I was unable to patch the latest checkout or the version
the patch was created from, so I had to look at all of the changes in patch
file format. The changes are in agreement with all of the work that I had been
doing. Please check them in. After this, shall I try to tackle the
documentation so that we can release an actual 2.0?
