[functor]'s API right now has many classes implementing Serializable. Several
other commons components have already dropped support to serialization, and it
can be tricky to maintain compatibility and serialization.
As proposed in [1], we could focus in the functional API details and drop
serialization (i.e. remove Serializable interface and update tests and classes).
