Hello all. I know this issues hasn't been touched in a while but I found a
solution to the special characters like '@' in password issue.
Try UrlEncoding the username or password with the special characters. The
exception is a parseUri exception.
Created a test user on my server with a pw of "Test!@#$%^&*()[]:; "
Encoded it and it worked like butter.
