Dieter Van de Walle commented on DAEMON-259:
--------------------------------------------

This a pretty big issue...

The whole point of JSVC is to offer a reliable way to manage a Java application
as a service.
But now I find out I cannot use JSVC without restarting it to get it to write
to a new logfile? (or create some crappy solution using named pipes and logging
scripts ...)
This really sucks...

Improvement my ass, this is a defect.
