Not sure if/when the SVN commit shows up, but I have commited fixes which make
javadoc 8 no longer fail (there are still lots of warnings). I tested it with
running `JAVA_HOME=.../jdk1.8.0 mvn -U clean javadoc:javadoc` in the project
dir and reviewed some generated javadoc pages by hand.
