Attachment: hdfs-config-2.diffs
The "hdfs-config-2.diffs" shows the code with correct handling of null inputs
(as specified by the Javadoc for the methods), as well as more specifics about
what null input will do.
Tested in our application with non-null inputs, and all still works correctly.
