Well, let's start with dealing with this here issue, and move on to others 
after that. Or, we can start with another issue, up to you, since you are doing 
the bulk of the work. But keeping things atomic on a per-issue will make things 
better for the project as you mentioned.

Also, the more you can put some of this knowledge in Javadoc or in the site 
docs, the better. I prefer Javadoc since it is closest to the code.
