I don't have any way of testing this.
However if you say that socketproxy.java works, this suggests that
InetSocketAddress must be getting the host info over the proxy.
In which case it should be possible to apply the same fix to imapprox.java
i.e. replace
{code:java}
ic.connect(iserver,Integer.parseInt(iport));
{code}
with
{code:java}
ic.connect(InetSocketAddress(iserver, Integer.parseInt(iport)));
{code}
Does that work for you?
