Gilles commented on GEOMETRY-22:
--------------------------------
This again raises the question of what is "core". Mathematically, some
concepts are independent of whether one uses a Euclidean or another coordinates
system. But does the design enforces that?
Or is the implementation Euclidean-centric?
I think the latter because module {{commons-geometry-spherical}} depends on
module {{commons-geometry-euclidean}}. Hence it would seem legitimate to merge
{{commons-geometry-euclidean}} into {{commons-geometry-core}} (to reflect that
in the chosen implementation, Euclidean coordinates are a prerequisite to most
functionalities).
