I didn't get why you changed
{noformat}
\infty
{noformat}
to
{noformat}
\infinity
{noformat}
in the MathJaX (LaTeX) comments; so changed it back.
Another cleanup suggestion is to change repetitive lines (see e.g.
concatenation of strings, where you corrected "assersion" -> "assertion") to
use a method call instead.
