Git has a concept called 'submodules' but this has to be treated in a very
special way:

Currently the maven-scm-providers-git does not implement this feature.
I'd have to experiment a bit, how to implement this best. I cannot remember if
a scm provider has any chance to distinguish between a parent module and a
submodule, but I'll try to.
