Filip Maj resolved CB-2703.
---------------------------

    Resolution: Later

Unfortunately we do not have support to deploy to a connected iOS device at
this time. build will simply compile your iOS application.

To verify that it built, check the contents of {{platforms/ios}}. It should
have a {{build}} directory with .ipa and other iOS binaries.

> "cordova build ios" does not work
> ---------------------------------

> Key: CB-2703
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-2703
> Project: Apache Cordova
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: CLI
> Affects Versions: 2.5.0
> Environment: OSX
> Reporter: Philippe Lang
> Assignee: Filip Maj
>
> According to the cordova-cli github documentation
> https://github.com/apache/cordova-cli
> ... "cordova build ios" is supposed to make a "prepare" followed by a
> "compile" which is supposed to do the following: "compiles and deploys the
> app to a connected and compatible device".
> I might be doing something wrong, but under OSX, this does nothing at all. No
> warning, no error, nothing.
> When opening the project by hand, an clicking "run", the app is build /
> deployed / run on my iPhone, as expected.
