Hello, I am a little confused about the Deprecation Policy. Will the Plugin
shim that [~agrieve] wrote be removed in 2.7 or in the next major release
(3.0)? The Policy seems to indicate that the shim will remain until 3.0 but
this ticket has a fix version of 2.7. Thanks for the clarification.
