Each API doc should have a mention at the top of how to add that API to your
project.
Not to mention, it should tell you that unless you do, that API will not be
available.
For example, if you look at
http://docs.phonegap.com/en/3.0.0/cordova_file_file.md.html#File you might
never know you need to add the plugin before it'll work.
