In the future iOS release it may be possible to replace the current js-native
bridge (encoding URL's and UIWebView delegate's handling).

The new JavaScriptCore.framework being introduced with the upcoming iOS 7
release allows exporting Objective-C objects to JS environment and the other
way around.
This would be a major design improvement over encoding URL's and UIWebView
delegate's handling.
