This is unfortunate, I was in the same spot, upgraded from 4.x to 5.x and Windows is broken. Should the readme be updated to say something about Windows only works for camera, not the gallery? As I see the platform still exists in the plugin.xml as well as the source code. Just to avoid future confusion?
