XI3310-Abhishek-Dana opened a new issue, #594:

We are not able to install the plugin in cordova-android version 7.0.0 we
are getting following error message
Unmet project requirements for latest version of cordova-plugin-file:
cordova-android (7.0.0 in project, >=12.0.0 required)

6.0.2 (latest is 8.0.0)
