I have a working implementation using CoreMotion framework.  However, there is 
one rather annoying message coming from iOS 7 SDK:
AssertMacros: queueEntry,  file: 
/SourceCache/IOKitUser/IOKitUser-920.1.11/hid.subproj/IOHIDEventQueue.c, line: 
512


When an accelerometer watch is started, this debug message is repeated every 
time an accelerometer reading is triggered.  Pretty annonying bug that 
hopefully will be fixed soon, but it's still present in the GM seed and has 
been there since Beta 5.  Discussed here w possible workaround:
