Great idea, I'll just add:
cordova info
- check if cordova in project is out out date with local cordova
cordova info --remote
- check if cordova in project is out out date with local cordova
- check if a newer version of cordova if available of github (if so, "hey, you
want to "npm update cordova" to upgrade from 3.4 to 3.5")
