The following code works on iOS, but fails on Android:
window.open(url, '_system', {});
Android requires this form:
window.open(url, '_system', null);
iOS also accepts null, but is more forgiving of the {} value. For consistency
and a less fragile api, it would be nice if Android would allow {} in place of
null, too.
