Ian Clelland commented on CB-7147:
----------------------------------
I am satisfied that the problem in XWALK-1931 has been resolved; the latest
Canary builds include a fix from
[XWALK-1952|https://crosswalk-project.org/jira/browse/XWALK-1952] which
correctly checks for a null here.
I have merged in Ningxin's patches to update cordova-crosswalk-engine to the
new embedding API, and the latest master branch now works on my pre-KK test
devices. (With the current 4.0.x tip, at a99c821)
The issue with Chrome canary not correctly attaching to Crosswalk webviews
still persists, though. For now, use stable, dev or beta to debug.
> USB Debugging no longer works on Crosswalk pre-KitKat

> I just tried the latest API, and for some reason I can't use Chrome Debugging
> with Third Party WebViews. This basically makes the upcoming demo pointless,
> since I can't demonstrate this working on Jellybean or ICS devices. :(
