Matus Pleva commented on CB-7759:
---------------------------------

In our case it could be quite often. We are developing application where we
measure employee working time. User could change it to have more working hours
and bigger reward. So we have to somehow handle time moves, but it is not
possible when application stops working.

> Application slows down after moving device time backwards on Samsung devices

> Project: Apache Cordova
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: Android
> Affects Versions: 3.2.0, 3.5.0
> Environment: Samsung devices with android such as Samsung Galaxy Ace
> (android 2.3.3), Samsung Galaxy SIII mini (android 4.2.2)

> When device time is moved backwards, application GUI slows down, javascript
> timers stop working, css animations don't work too. After a while everything
> start working again. It seems that recovery time depends on how much the time
> is moved. (1min backwards -> recovery about 2min).
> I tested it also on Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 (both android 4.4.4) but here the
> problem doesn't occur.
> This issue can be easily reproduced by creating new cordova project (sample
> application with device ready indicator). When time is moved back, css
> animation on green box stops. You can add js timer there and again it stops.
